Spring has sprungWelcome to the 9 September 2008 enewsletter
Last week saw the arrival of the first day of spring and it felt as though someone flicked the ‘on’ switch – the weather is a little warmer, the days a little brighter and the buds of the trees are ready to burst. Spring is also the ideal time to shake off the slothfulness of winter and get more active. With this in mind, we have highlighted how exercise is good for the body and mind and that playing golf may help you live longer.
You can also assist the environment as you exercise and maybe use our Webmaster Drew’s photo sharing tip to let others see you in action.
Olympic Paralympian Kurt Fearnley leads the Australian charge of the 2008 Beijing Paralympics, proving nothing can stop the nation’s disabled athletes. Joan wants to know what’s happened to all the single travellers’ deals and we highlight some money saving ways to see Australia.
In Kaye’s absence, David gives us his views on the joys of rail travel and we answer some tax and superannuation related questions. As Executive Chef at the Sydney Harbour Marriott, Andreas Donnerbaur knows the importance of a hearty breakfast and we’re sure his Bircher Muesli will set you up for the day ahead.
