How to feng shui your home

Welcome to the 18 July AboutSeniors Friday Bulletin.

Feng shui is the Chinese art of placing things in harmony with nature. These "things" might be roads, high-rise buildings, or beds, candles, even plants.

Ancient Chinese masters were believed to have the power to manipulate wind and water (the meaning of feng shui). Applying the principles of feng shui to your home may not change the universe, but it could add a great deal of energy to your existence - as well as remove a lot of clutter. This week's downloadable "how to" PDF explains the principles of feng shui and how they can be applied to even the humblest of dwellings.

With the working week (mainly) over, Friday nights are for fun. In celebration of Friday, this week we offer Kaye's quick and tasty "Chevups" in Tomato Sauce (takes 15 minutes to prepare, and is ideal for eating out of a bowl in front of the footy or your favourite crime drama!).

And Drew has created his own "Happy Hour" for those who enjoy a cocktail, using ingredients found in most homes. Just to be totally balanced, we also offer links to websites we think encapsulate the best sense on safe drinking.

Here's to Friday
