We received a lot of feedback on our first article regarding Google maps, which showed readers how they could view their own homes and backyards through the satellite images collected and posted by Google maps. There were those who felt this technology was a invasion of their privacy, I can only imagine what they are saying now with the release of Google’s new technology added to their mapping system in the past week, Street View.

Be aware that to qualify “When Claiming the Pension Bonus” you MUST have been in Australia Ten Years! Yes its a LAW as described below.
This is NOT explained in any of the Pension Bonus Information Sheets! Even Centrelink People dont apear to know that, only the ones who Administer the scheme.
All the Info the Pension Bonus Scheme SHOULD Point this out in laymans terms and in Black and White!
I found out when after being in the scheme three years & went to claim it but was refused, I could of had the Age Pension but NOT the Bonus as I have not been in the country ten years. (I have six months to go!)
It is very misleading as they say that I qualify for the Age Pension then the literature goes on to say that if you Qualify for the Age Pension you also Qualify for the Pension Bonus ! WRONG!!! BEWARE this is incorrect.
The law is Social Security Act 1991 Sec 92C as per the following link.

I dont know if this can even be done and its not meant as criticism, but when replying to a post in this forum one is taken to a separate page and (unless I am a goose) one cant refer back to another member’s post without losing what one has part written. I have found this when attempting to include responses to several member’s comments in my reply

In some other forums one is able to view the existing posts while composing a response. Any takers?

Great news re the new (to be released in around 4 years apparently) help for Alzeimer patients. Just watched a lady who was on a decline with Alzeimers now much much better (she said she is almost back to her normal self) and her family amazed at how good she is.
I admire the people who find amazing treatments for dreadful diseases - where would the world be without these clever people. How sad some great people doing wonderful things lost their lives far too early. Especially the Eye Doctor and Heart Surgeon.
