Check the ‘Age Page’ of the Community Services section of your local telephone directory for many useful contact phone numbers for Commonwealth and State Government departments in your area plus listings for community groups, Home and Community Care (HACC), Aged Care Assessment Teams and other organisations.

Legal Help
The Community Assistance Service of the Law Society of New South Wales helps members of the public in relation to their legal enquiries, legal needs, and gaining access to legal services. The service assists the public in accessing appropriate legal services by either direct legal service provision or facilitating access to the services of other providers.

An information and referral service for people with disabilities and the aged, their carers, service providers, professionals, government departments and students. IDEAS can supply you with contact details and description of service providors, suppliers, manufacturers, accessible accommodation and venues.

Combined Pensioners and Superannuants Association of NSW Inc.
CPSA is a non-profit, non-party-political, membership association run by volunteers. It represents pensioners of all ages, superannuants and low-income retirees. The association runs Senior Infoline, providing information on housing and tenancy, pensions, medicines, funerals and other matters.

The Society is Australia’s first charity. It provides a range of high quality services targeted to the needs of older people and their carers.

Older Men New Ideas Group (OM:NI)
OM:NI's mission is to enhance the health, wellbeing and lifestyle of older men. This is achieved by developing community based groups for older men. The groups provide safe, confidential and supportive places for men to develop friendship and camaraderie.
OM:NI is not a service club, activity or hobby group. OM:NI meetings last two hours, are casual (come along when you can), and members come from all walks of life.

The Retirement Village
The Retirement Village Association of Australia Inc. (RVAA) has more than 200 member villages currently providing accommodation and services to some 30,000 residents throughout Australia, and offering a wide range of financial choices, occupancy agreements, locations, services and facilities.
